Coca-Cola recognises the role of AB Sustain and Czarnikow’s sugar programme in supporting Coca-Cola's goal of 100% sustainably sourced sugar by 2020. Sugar producers and refiners in South America, Middle East, Southern Africa, and Asia have signed up and sustainable sugar is being supplied.
Unification of 200 tobacco suppliers and over 5 million smallholders under a single programme, the Sustainable Tobacco Programme. AB Sustain guided the collaboration of manufacturers and suppliers to create a common approach to sustainability across a large proportion of the industry.
AB Sustain partners with Czarnikow, the international sugar trader, to establish large scale supply of sustainable sugar.
Coverage of the global tobacco supply chain increased to close to 50% by complementing our existing assessments of SRTP for our clients to also conducting assessments of the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for another client.
