Tim Oliver
Tim has a production management and purchasing background and has worked in the agricultural supply sector since 1979. Tim is Head of Biodiversity and Supply Chain Assurance for AB Sustain.
With a lifetime interest in wildlife, Tim manages AB Sustain’s biodiversity projects, including Waitrose WildCare and WildCare in the Workplace. He also works with clients to design bespoke assurance programmes that deliver feed safety, segregated products and environmental protection.
Since the late 1990s, Tim has worked closely with the UK Feed Industry in the development of its accredited feed safety programmes with a particular focus on feed ingredients. He is a member of several feed industry working groups at both UK and EU level.
Tim has undertaken work in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia and has provided training and expertise to the commercial sector and official agencies both directly and through the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO). Tim holds a postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies, is a certificated lead assessor and has qualifications and experience in the application of HACCP to various industries.
